Well given our record at Anfield I think it’s worth thinking about…
I wouldn't believe a word Masters says. I think it's incredibly likely to happen, given that Serie A and La Liga have already done this. It's a 'global' league know and you only have to see what happened with the super league farce to know what a few of the top clubs in the PL think of 'legacy fans'... That being said, if they wanted to make season tickets cheaper then it would probably be an easier sell. Though I doubt that would happen!

Wouldn't be surprised if rags v dippers on 2 May is overseas if the dippers aren't top and the rags are bottom half - they can fuck off and have the 'biggest game of the season' in the states and pretend the rags are relevant.We all know who will start this trend off. Masters says airily that it’s not happening. Would be useful, though, to pass a rule requiring all games to be played in England or Wales. It’ll start with the community shield, and then after that, at some point, a premier league game will be played in The States.
If City lose the big case these red clubs and Chelsea owned by yanks will take the PL to America
They will try and punish us in a way we cannot stop it

There will come a point in the near future when the new breed of fan become the majority whilst the legacy/baby boom generation are marginalised

they've been laying the groundwork for years with the Premier League summer series friendlies. Used to be PL teams and other league teams, now it's been PL vs PL for quite a few years. Says a lot. foundations for an early season 'curtain raiser' in the US. Maybe not for a while. But it'll happen.
