City’s New Kits

Just don’t use fabric softener in machine when washing

Had issues with names and sponsor coming off after a few washes

Told the wife to stop using softener and it works
I always wash on 20 degree and tiny bit of washing powder and inside out but found that the screen printing (Name & Number) on my latest shirts (which are from offical store) and are from last 4 seasons started peeling after about 4 washes. I've got older shirts I.e black away with Adebayor, red & black with Aguero, white, red & black sash with Ireland etc on them and they are still perfect. I honestly think it's the quality of the screenprint which is shite.

I'll ask the Mrs, probably not, so she will get the blame :)

Thing is like I said they not embroidered on that shirt, it's like a rubber badge if you will, you probably have seen it and felt it
All I can say is my snide has been thorough 5/6 times and is still 'as new'.

Never let your lady do your stuff though.

Probably the screenprint, I've noticed the PL font is much more fragile than the 'Club' font they use in the CL and cups so I go for that now.
I have the white and green away kit with KDB and it's still perfect whereas the name on my treble red and black kit was toast after about 3 or 4 washes.

These are DHGate but I reckon they probably use the same materials for the prints as the legit ones.

Never had an issue with any badges they are well embroidered off the guy I use.

This is the hard truth I learned with multiple Champions League badges on shirts.

I wash all my football shirts, whether genuine or DHG on a separate 20 degree load with no fabric softener.

Greaseproof paper and an iron over the stickers and they come up as good as new. Have to catch them when they are starting to crease.
