I think they signed Rogers as back up winger, pure squad filler, but then through luck and circumstance realised he was actually brilliant as a midfielder/8

They have spent 265m so far, and are going to add Guehi to go over 300m. They have sold Nunez And Dias for 110m combined. That's still a net spend of 190m. Before Isak.

If we had spent 190m all in, never mind net, it would have been a god damn 'spree'!

Fair enough, I don't follow their activity that closely.

That's still 120m net spend though, with all those included, quickly googling their fees.

Which is more or less our entire spend so far, not net.

Hardly 'miniscule', which was my point.

In fact the fact that sky even focus on the net spend in this discussion when they don't do that with other clubs, tells you all you need.
