Maybe a crazy thought but what if Enrique is helping get Donnarumma to City before his contract ends and he hits the open market? The reason being, when Pep leaves, be it after this season or when his contract expires, he will already have the GK he wants at the club he will be managing.

Can't believe after eight success years people are still trying to discredit Ederson and his contributions. All for the sake of getting over excited about a shiny new toy. Shame.
Are you Trafford's mum? Your original attack line was "This isn't fair to Trafford." As you didn't have too many rushing to support you, you are changing it to how cruel everyone is being to Eddy.

I think giving a pep a proper rebuild with a new younger core will only encourage him to sign another small extension.

He said he’s done after city, he never said when. I know most people think it’s after this deal but we’ve seen this before.

Hungry and inspired pep is good for us.

Best keeper in the world but shite with his feet apparently, so to be the best in the world he must compensate for his short falls massively, maybe we might not concede from the first nine shots on goal in various games last season and swap that for a few missed placed passes from the keeper

Cherki was eligible to play for Algeria and Italy ;)

I believe France too as he was born there.

I would advise taking the day off work tomorrow and having a long lie down. Preferably with the curtains drawn shut.

Some Donnarumma Champions League highlights

To be honest, in the 32nd second, Benzema committed a serious foul that wasn't called at the Bernabéu.

All players make mistakes, even generational talents.

We could make a video like this about the mistakes of Hakimi, Vitinha, Nuno Mendes…

It was a circus at PSG: Neymar would arrive at training drunk, Verratti would be out of breath because he'd smoked two packs of cigarettes, Mbappé, once substituted, would go to the locker room, change, and sit next to his mother in the stands…

He was excellent in Ligue 1, but like the entire PSG team, as soon as they heard the Champions League anthem, they would panic and lose their strength.

Then Luis Compos and Louis Enrique arrived, they brought seriousness and solved the club's mental health problem, and since then, it's been excellence. It's not for nothing that Donnarumma became PSG vice-captain behind Marquinhos.

I’m pretty sure when Kev signed for us under Pellers that Pep had a hand in that

Ederson will leave as City's all time best goalkeeper. The honours won make that obvious.
Good luck to him.
Donna is gonna follow in those steps with heaps of pressure (if he signs).
Good news is the guy has proved he has the minerals at every level and team he's played at.
Trafford has got a battle to be top dog, but if he didn't realise that when signing back at City, he underestimated the level City are now at.

Pep keen on Donnarumma according to FR. And Gala-City and Donnarumma-City talks underway...
