I’ve just read a 47 year old man EJECTED !
Hold on he should’ve been arrested not ejected
I accept he was in a wheelchair and may have some physical difficulties but what message does that send out
Get him arrested and put before a court or a doctor simple
Oh and then ban him and or his carer

No wonder Liverpool have so few arrest at they ground. I'm shocked that the muckyside police dont enforce the law onto their own

They know who he is they can lift him at any time, they know who everyone is who attends specially someone in a wheelchair. I want to know what he said, I want to know how they know he said it.

Can someone with Tourette's be charged with racially abusing someone? Or for anything they say? Is he mentally impaired in any way as well as physically impaired?

Now the interesting thing would be is he there again the next home game.

Just shows how usless these type of tables are. Racist abuse is an arrestable offence yet last night muckyside police didn't arrest someone for doing this.

No wonder Liverpool arrest record is so low compared to other club who are policed correctly and not by a corrupt force.

Not always the case as people move and change seats and sell on tickets but yes it’s highly unlikely they don’t know and can confirm his identity after all he is physically disabled
That them moves onto the question of his ability to know what he’s doing is wrong (mental capacity)
Looking at the video and I’m only guessing obviously but he appears to be fully aware of what is actions are again I accept that not every disability is visible only a doctor can determine that
The arrest therefore could be argued as necessary for the prompt and effective investigation by means of questioning and also protect him from himself and others ( could be argued he would be attacked or abused by Bournemouth fans if released and seen outside the ground )
If he is ejected because of his mental capacity / illness I would be interested to know what actions the police then took
Because they have a duty of care for his welfare
did they take him home ? ( they should)
Maybe he had a carer with him that would negate that
Re what he said the player and I’m sure other supporters around will have heard / witnessed the abuse

Let's have it out, nothing would surprise me with the scouse but it has to be investigated.

What was said
Why he wasn't arrested

As I said, if he's there next time round then questions need to be asked how.

It will be investigated too many variables.
It’s an high profile incident that has attracted widespread media attention.
The kick out campaign will be involved, plus the club. He should/likely will be, banned until the investigation is concluded.
It would be very difficult for this to go away.
The only way I imagine it could go away, is through mental illness ,but I would suggest that would need to be already documented in his medical records.

He already has the biggest victim card to play mate.

I think Konate and Kerkez struggled. We did look wide open, not entirely sure it was down to VVD.
I watched the match last night. Carragher was going all out on blaming Konate for almost everything and every time Bournemouth broke through L’pool’s defence, hardly a bad word about VVD when he was just as culpable some of the time. Pointing mistakes out is all well and good when it’s constructive but not when it’s verging on scapegoating.

But there lies the problem.

When it comes to MCFC there is no other side.

We've been castigated as the proverbial cheats.

You strike me as an intelligent individual Slotter, and you can surely see this.

These charges that have been leveled at MCFC are very provocative. They infer. They're very suggestive. They imply that any success the club have had over the past ten years is a result of deceit and financial irregularities.

That's why people (especially your fans, and those of the rags and Arsenal) call us cheats.

I know this, because I've spoken with plenty of said fans and when I ask them to elaborate on their views on how MCFC have cheated; they often hesitate and mumble about some vague financial shenanigans.

I often say to the rag fans I meet, "so if our cheating is solely down to financial irregularities or even sponsorship doping then how is that any different from your club operating from a financial club deficit (debt) of £1B"

Now, what I find interesting and I'm sure there are plenty of people on this forum who can clarify this: if as you suggest, most football fans are not interested in the financial side of football then why do they feel so compelled to discuss money when they talk about MCFC. The two have become synonymous.

I have yet to have a discussion with others fans who are willing to consider that the decade of success MCFC have enjoyed is due to anything other than money spent.

My opinion is that we've spent about the same as the historical top four clubs have spent over the past ten or twelve years.

What people don't appreciate is that when Sheikh Mansour bought our club in 2008 his goal was to develop the best football club in the world. The media thought him a joke.

However, he cleared our debt, invested significantly in the club and the infrastructure. He hired the best in the business to develop the footballing side of things.

Although the media initially mocked our "project" most clubs in the land are proud to announce their own projects these days.
My general view on the whole "charges" issue is that alot of it is driven solely by jealousy. It also being a fear that City could run away with things and the "older clubs" would never be able to compete. I don't think that there is any racism in the actual issues, but do think alot of it comes from the (now) many US owners against the ideas of your owner. You look around the transformation around the Etihad and see how money has been pushed in to the community/area, whereas US owners are all about the profit.
On the flipside how do you eject a supporter in a wheelchair? It's almost like somert from phoenix nights.

But all you lurking fuckin scouse scumbags, i hope you are happy with yourselves tonight.
The way he "allegedly" made the comment and then wheeled himself back into his position, was totally Phoenix Nights. Obviously don't know what was meant to have been said but with modern stadiums, TV cameras, stewards, audio recordings, you have to be absolutely mad to come out with anything.
Pressure will certainly be on to do something about it and ensure that the offender is never allowed in again.

As for the little matter of the match. As others have said, we looked pretty good going forward but shocking at the back. I have said it previously that I am concerned about the number of new players all being asked to gel so quickly. Even the pre season games we were done on the transition/break. Can only hope that Gravenberch coming back makes a little difference to make things a little more solid. The performance will certainly have everyone else in the league, thinking that we can be got at.

Don’t be fooled by a scouser having a wheelchair
