Come on I know we never like saying anything good about the Scum, but Cunha and Mbuemo aren't bad players, and both players will improve them. If we didn't sign Marmoush in January, I'd have taken Cunha at City. Has more of an end product than Doku does, that's for sure. Just don't get how nobody else went for him, especially with shite like Madueke who signed for Arsenal for a similar price.
Doesn't he have behavioural issues?

They were decent at best but they were so bad last season that the fans are looking for positives any where they can find them. Their midfield is still non-existent and Arsenal ran through their midfield numerous times but couldn't find the final ball. I can already tell Sesko will struggle to get the kind of numbers people expect him to get.

New season same old RAGS.
Another defeat at the swamp
Still unable to win two Premier league games on the trot.
Long ball hoofing it up to slabhead in desperation.
And a gap already forming between them and CITY.
The CITY is BLUE
And always as been. CTID
Don't forget that they still have a negative goal difference :-)

Well in just the 12 or so hours since they were beaten, I've seen hem described by various media as "desperately unlucky", "much improved title challengers" and "on the way back". Apparently all they need is a new goalkeeper, just another few million or so.

They are still 15th. They have spend over £200m despite laying people off and publicly pleading poverty and a lack of cash flow, something on which I am still bemused as to why the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority didn't actually investigate as an intention to mislead or manipulate the New York Stock Exchange.

They are still pushing for UK government to step in and devalue the land they want to buy, if not outright fund their new stadium with public money.

But you just know that even if they pick up as little as two points from their games before the derby, Fulham then Burnley, which lets be honest should be their minimum expectations, they'll be heralded as returning to greatness. Let's just hope we're sat on nine points by then, and twelve after.

I would love to see them spouting about this disgusting new stadium with championship football on the agenda. Far from the golden goose some believe that rags to be for English football, I'd put them as the festering pustule of disease that holds us back from growth.

And the fat referee was certainly a ‘homer’ today.
The game itself was fucking terrible, I didn't think that could be topped by a shambolic referee display!

Starting the game not only a minute in with Zubimendi getting a forearm to the face gone unpunished to let the Rags counter attack.

There was a very tight offside in the first half too in which Arsenal got in behind, the linesman put his flag up and the ref blew the whistle, didn't even let them continue to see the outcome...

Nothing new here.

Last season they upped their performances when playing the top sides and made their hoofball look threatening and effective... and they still finished 15th.

Imagine if a side wasn’t ’up for it’ on the first day of the season. Lots of bluster and over the top analysis. Couple more shit results, lose against Fulham and they will be looking for the next 200 million pound corner to turn.

A lot of reports from the media that they should go out and buy Donna from psg didn’t they rule themselves out when there was links to us? Or was all the links to us from the agent to get rags to pay a big fee and wages?

Rag fan on tslksport layed into his team and then the radios station went out there way to ridicule him to prop up one of the favourite teams because we can’t have any negative at beginning of there season for there team! Oh they love employing rags and sending them to games to get an unbiased reporting! Media in the country all the same defend there money train clubs till they get the nod from there club to change fact!

The standard on show yesterday from both sides was awful, it was crash bang wallop stuff going at 100 mph. The rags do what they do in big games in trying to bring the other team down to their level. They have Lukaku mark 2 in Mbeuno, their long ball punt to him each game will get sussed by teams less adventurous than Arsenal. If that’s the standard of football they want they should have never got rid of Mourinho.

BBC sport as usual, main page is the reaction, then there is a "desperately unlucky" article, then there is a goalkeeping issue article, then 2 videos for the game, then there is a Rooney they should buy Donnarumma and finally the headline for the Gossip column is Man Utd weigh up Wharton move....

The Beeb is in full swing.
