The subtext of that is players who won't be involved matchdays, who I suspect have been identified and informed. Savinho isn't one of those, he's a perennial first team/squad member so if he goes he'll have to be replaced

We will buy another winger if Savinho goes. You cannot just have Doku and Bobb as your wingers.

Marmoush is more of a second striker Alvarez type and Cherki and Foden drift in as 10s.

I think Pep wants the midfielders and defenders out who know they will barely play more than 10 games this season.
