It is just to point out it happens everywhere. It is not to excuse it. It may well be that people will be less inclined to do it, with both sets of fans singing it the whole game, it would certainly stand out more! People MAY be more self aware. Possibly.

He hasn't been dealt with swiftly.
He should have been arrested at the stadium. He wasn't. He was arrested the next day.
He should have been charged. He wasn't. He's been bailed for the consideration of a charge.
That is not 'dealt with swiftly'.

The stewards should have alerted the police immediately. They didn't. This was and still looks like yet another dipper cover up.

I get the banning him from klanfield but when the authorities extend that ban to every competitive match and not allowed to go within a mile of any football stadium authorities need to fuck off.

He's more than likely guilty but where did these cunts in suits get this kind of power?

Really! I'd gaol him, fine him and ban him from every sporting, leisure and recreational venue in the country. Only then will the message get through.
 
I see Bournemouth are yet again paying a hugely inflated transfer fee for a scouse youth player, just like Ibe, Jones etc. This time £25m for an injury prone championship class winger. The victims don’t like the multi club model apparently, they just do it without announcing the fact that their transfers to US owned Bournemouth are inflated related party transactions. I’m sure Masters and his boys will be looking into it …..

Banning them from being around the ground on a matchday is to try and prevent the prospect of trouble but also almost certainly to prevent banned people trying to get in and falling back on the excuse of "i wasn't trying to enter, I dont even have a ticket"

many years ago I had a mate that got quite possibly the most ridiculous football ban I've ever heard, incredibly harsh. After respecting it for a long time, he came to an away game once whilst still banned, he got flagged up outside the ground, I came up behind him, lifted his ticket from his back pocket, discreetly told him to say he didnt have a ticket and was just there for the atmosphere and wondered off. They couldnt argue against it and didn't breach his ban.

Yes really, it's an overbearing reaction and pretty fucking radical. Incredible how people get more wound up by this when far worse things happen at matches and around the streets when matches take place.

Within a mile of a football stadium is ridiculous, he hasn't even been found guilty FFS.

Once we've got the verdict out of the way, MCFC will launch their own investigation into the financial integrity of clubs like Liverpool and the rags.

It'll be part of a legal intervention to claim damages to image rights and loss of income.

The amateurs thought they were going to stop MCFC by filing these charges. They've essentially pressed the button on all out war and they've brought a pillow to a gun fight.

No idea why people are so excited about outlets saying 'spectator'. Not sure what planet you'd be on to not know it was a disabled Dipper as there was enough media coverage to see who it was.

Still not seen anything printed about what was said. Seen the stuff on X about the fan near him saying he was a twat and has previous for abusing officials and other players and throwing chewing gum at officials.
