Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

Has any other player who has been injured not turned up every day to be looked after by the club doctors and physiotherapists? Also convenient that the manager says one thing and the player seems to say something else?
I have not read any reliable source report about Savinho refusing to turn up at the CFA despite the club wanting him to, have you? What is it that Savinho has said that does not correlate with what Pep said? Posting a picture of him being in the gym? You know that if a player has an injury in his leg he can still go to the gym and just not train his leg?

EDIT: I am not saying you are absolutely wrong, I just wonder where you have read all this. Since I must have missed it.

Their source is saying the number was 66 million City were asking for. If they bid that he’s theirs. Next bid is around the 68 million mark.

He’s been spot on with all of Spurs business sort of like their Tolmie.

Yeah sounds promising. Imagine it’s all to do with add ons.

The Macca deal took a while because of buy back/sell on. Not suggesting this has those but potentially there are performance related ones.

Indeed. The video on his Instragm account was him doing some seated cable chest presses. It’s hardly like he was doing weighted box jumps.

For all we know, what Pep said was actually true and he wasn’t able to train with the team because he did actually have a knock, maybe to his lower body which meant he could do chest presses at home easily but not any running about with a ball?
Exactly this.

And then if you look at it from that perspective, the pictures of him on Insta is him showing he's committed to the cause...he's injured but still working out at home. But we've got some people who won't have that, they want to believe he was dissing Pep due to his comments about being out of the squad. Some people just want to see the negative. (not you mate)

Had a purple patch at fucking Girona when they had an absolute worldie of a season!

You can’t tell me you watched him last season and thought he was good!?

2% chance conversion rate and killed loads of transitions by making an awful pass.

He was one of the reasons we were shit last year. He wasn’t alone but certainly a cause. Our wingers didn’t contribute at all.

If fucking Antony put this numbers up for the rags (by the way how many were in the Prem, those assist stats!?) we’d be pissing ourselves.

He spends half his time on the pitch either on his arse after getting outmuscled or geeing up the crowd after hitting a fullback’s shin for a corner.

I’d rather have Darren Huckerby than him never mind Rodrygo.

He’s fucking turd.
Absolutely no need for that.

Why wasn’t he with the group then and training on his own at home?

Could just be avoiding injury, as requested by the club.

If Pep's dream player is Rodrygo and Savinho going is key to it it's not really unlikely is it.

I still am unconvinced that isnt just nearly done on both deals and we're getting the Spurs game out of the way.

Fair play mate, that's an honest answer.

Leaving aside the behaviour news which if true is a massive red flag, i have seen enough of Savio falling over after dribbling into an impossible position to know he needs a whole lot of coaching.

He is 21 so it’s clubs scouts who can predict whether he becomes the new Sterling/Mahrez/Salah or remains the Troare/townsend type.
I am still waiting for Jesus to become the next Aguero and Patrick Roberts the new Ribery.

I'm not putting up with you sitting on the fence, out with it fella and tell us all what you really mean :)

I suppose the truth will come out eventually.
No one seems to have any grasp on what is actually happening yet we are getting annoyed with each other based on pure guesswork.

He's injured , he's not injured
He's a bad influence, he's not.
Pep is open to letting unhappy players ago, Pep wants him to stay.
Bernardo said he downs tools, Bernardo never said this.
Spurs bid €70m , Spurs have not bid €70m.
He's definitely going, He's not going.
It seems like a lot of people are making guesses and assumptions based on little evidence and more coming from what they want to happen.

Me personally, I would absolutely sell Savinho and get Rodrygo if it's possible. But I think the pilling on here is getting very exaggerated. If one would only get his information from this forum one could think Savinho has told the club to fuck off, refused to train and are forcing his way out. When its also very possible that he has not asked the club to leave, it's just that he would not rule a move out if the club accepts a bid for him and that he is treating his minor injury as the club has instructed him to.

I had that same thought, but in the next breath I thought is it the right thing to post when a) my manager has just said I'm not fit to start a game that kicks off in a few hours b) I've been heavily linked with joining another club

Both thoughts went through my head, and he may just have been acting innocently and showing he's working hard whilst out injured; but something tells me there was a little more to it

Doku can play right wing. McAtee can play right wing. Nunes can play right wing. Bernardo (I don't really want him to, but) can play right wing.

Why do we keep turning down bids for him if we don't value him, in your opinion?
„ can play“ that’s where it ends my guy

To be fair Patrick Roberts / Andros Towsend / Adama Traore weren't in the La Liga TOTY at 20 or 4th in the Ballon D'Or Kopa Trophy (behind only Guler and Yamal as attackers) but if they're valid comparisons to you fair enough.

Salah was at Basel at his age, Mahrez in Le Havre's reserves.
