Amazing film. Its subtlety and matter of fact-ness makes it all the more horrifying. The Zone of Interest.
Just leaves you speechless, truly horrific.

3/4 of the way through watching, hard work but the alternative was The Hundreds…..The last Mission Impossible ( Final Reckoning) is available to download from the usual places, I see. Went to see it in the cinema. It's long (nearly 3 hrs), and I thought it meandered at times, and I found my attention wandering at various points during the film. The stunts, as usual, were fantastic (the biplane scene is brilliant) . But a film shouldn't just be about stunts (no, not a typo!). 6.5/10 for me.
What; the cricket competition? I think I'd rather watch the test card!3/4 of the way through watching, hard work but the alternative was The Hundreds…..
That’s why I stuck with it…..What; the cricket competition? I think I'd rather watch the test card!
OMG.
If this clip doesn't send a chill through you nothing will.
One of the best movies ever made.
Just watched Superman, just God awful crap. The leads have zero charisma or chemistry, the fking dog!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Trying to bring a Guardians vibe, as out of place as carragaher at a Mensa convention. Superman Returns was bad but looks a high watermark compared to this mess, every one of the cast seemed to be reading from a different script.
I remember the Sam Raimi Spiderman films of the early 00s, good fun at the time. I watched the 2 Andrew Garfield films, whilst he was good the other characters weren't especially memorable. Finally, watched the Home trilogy with Tom Holland, he is very believable as both Peter and Spidey. Loved all three Spidey's in No Way Home along with the old villains. Was pleasantly surprised by the first spider verse film, great plot.
As nearly a FOC, as a kid the marvel characters were in order of interest Fantastic Four, Hulk and Spiderman, none of the others made any impression on me as a kid. As I got older, X-Men were in the mix. Just think all that marvel avengers stuff is just bombastic shite.
I will always love Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy as they were by and large, decent films rather than just superhero films.
I prefer both Superman III and Superman IV The quest for Peace, to this one, and if I'm being honest, Supergirl, though for entirely different reasons........'Kin 'ell! I think that's the most venom you spat out about some form of entertainment that's annoyed you! LOL!

One the plus side I did enjoy the "new" Spidey's! ;-)
Watched it tonight mate.I reckon its right up your street.
It's a simple, but pretty unique premise.
It's forward and backwards, story wise, but it all comes together brilliantly.
One of my favourite films
You're welcome Bill, glad you enjoyed it.Watched it tonight mate.
As you said, my kind of film. Loved it, thanks for the recommendation.
I see the director was Sidney Lumet. You're welcome Bill, glad you enjoyed it.
His last film I believe.I see the director was Sidney Lumet.
That guy is a bit of a genius if you look at the films he has directed.
I mean 12 Angry Men for a start.
The blank screen with weird music before the film begins is so unsettlingThe Zone of Interest.
Just leaves you speechless, truly horrific.
