Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

literally the first game of the last season against Chelsea. Not wolves but Chelsea. Had both wingers on both sides on skates
So he's good at hockey?
Here's how it works for me. Over the past 5 or so years prior to last year we were arguably the best team in world football. That's down mainly to both Pep AND having an abundance of top class players. Just look how long it took a talent like Foden to really get entrenched. We won't get back to our best with too many project players and players past their best. Savinho is an example of someone who may turn out decent but has no business playing regularly for City at the present. I don't know where this idea of needing to go with players who are not ready and club legends who are past it has materialized with a section of our supporters but it's getting silly. Only top class players at their peak should be seeing the pitch for us.

Fabrizio said tonight it was a key figure at City blocking the move and in Graeme Bailey a article, he is saying Pep is the person blocking it.

Maybe all this Pep dreams of Rodrygo is complete nonsense.
Or maybe Rodrygo said no, and we don't have a viable replacement this late in the window.

Imo if anyone IS 'blocking' it, it will be because the fee is not enough.

If he stays, it will be because everyone is comfortable with it. And some of the shite fantasies people have come up here, they'll need to lear to live with.

Where did Fabrizio say this?

Pep never stands in way of players leaving if they bring the fee to the club. He said so last week. Though I accept city once stopped Bernardo citing too late in window. I think it’s more likely that it’s too late to do the Rodrygo deal or he doesn’t want to come so they said to Pep we can cash in but you wouldn’t get a replacement so he’s said no.
