PL charge City for alleged breaches of financial rules

If the PL are confident they have won and want the best result (Which includes City name being dragged through the mud) I would have thought the last thing they would be doing is calling for the tribunal to be quicker, complaining about costs, complaining to the media. Basically putting pressure on the people they want a result from.
good point ,another soft signal?

Could City be blocking Savinho's move to Spurs because of Spurs's role in the 115 case?

A senior person on the board of Manchester City is said to be blocking the deal. That could be Soriano. Ir could be for footballing reasons, but it might also be political.

This is from Fabrizio Romano. Another reporter mentioned that the figure who was blocking the deal was thought to be Soriano

You surely mean PL clubs rather than the PL as the only person to speak on behalf of the PL as far as I'm aware is Masters and he pretty much said we just have to suck up the wait. But if they've won the quicker they can fuk us over the better surely? Or are you suggesting the panel might change its mind based because the comments have pissed them off?

Soriano isn't on the board so more likely Khaldoon.

At one point today, I listened to someone who said it was Soriano. I think it was Romano who used the term board member and that might have been a simile for senior official. It's all just transfer gossip / speculation.

If we want more gossip, then might the tensions in football between new and old express themselves through Newcastle issuing a complaint to the Premier League about Liverpool unsettling their player. I watched the Back Pahes tonight, and a journalist from the Times said Newcastle were fighting off interest from Liverpool in Isak last season and feared a bid from them in the Summer, and sure enough it came in. That interest could be legiit. but it seems that Isak has been pushing for this for some time. I can see this transfer dispute escalating. Probably just my imagination.

Not sure Soriano has the authority to run the club for personal vendettas. If anyone at the club has seen their arse over Spurs and Levy it will be Mansour and Khaldoon. And I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case given Levy's "wouldn't pick up the phone" comment on the Kane transfer and his perceived involvement in the 115 case.

On the other hand, Soriano would be carrying out the orders of Mansour and Khaldoon, so I can see how it may look like he is the stumbling block.

Soriano is not a member of the board.

On The Overlap Daniel Levy said that “related/associated party sponsorships” are “one of the biggest threats” to the game. He said this area “has to be controlled” because state-owned clubs can effectively “do deals with themselves,” creating an unfair competitive advantage over others. So it’s pretty clear who the architect is of the unlawful Associated Party Transaction (APT) rules that blocked our new sponsorship deals with Etihad Airways and First Abu Dhabi Bank. Daniel Levy is Enemy No. 1

It could be that but I imagine we’ve dealt with other clubs involved since? No? I’d like to think it’s just a two fingers up to Levy who has been a nightmare to deal with previously

Have you got a source for that?
