Last Film You Saw

I didn't think Superman was as bad as I had expected. I didn't like the dog. I didn't like some of the newspaper chitterchatter. I didn't like the Ma & Pa. I didn't mind the plot, the baddies, the goodies.

I loved all the comics when young but most of superhero movies after Superman II have been boring. This one was no worse and maybe a tad better than the supped up melodramatic rest.

I prefer the alternative ones like Super, Kick Ass or Mystery Men.

Edit: Joker was excellent too but not sure if that fits in the alternative bucket or the melodramatic bucket.

Watched the new Superman for a second time and it’s actually better second time round, still prefer Reeves and the Snyderverse

Together.

Great parable on the dangers of getting stuck in a relationship.

Imagine John Carpenter and David Cronenberg doing a romantic film.

Loved it.

The Rover.

Guy Pearce, Robert Pattinson.

Ten years after a global economic collapse, a cold-blooded drifter traverses the scorched Australian outback on a mission to track down the men who stole his last remaining possession - his car. When he crosses paths with a badly wounded member of the gang, he takes the vulnerable, naïve young man along as his unwitting accomplice.
Really enjoyed it.

Yeah, it was tremendous fun.
Was it? Not the one I watched, think there's a few on here need to grow up :)
So a witch that doesn't get explained where she gets her powers suddenly gets inherited onto a family and causes havoc, she's then chased by 17 kids (benny hill style) because the people trying to escape from her clutches snap a twig.
It was absolute fucking shite, it should have been labelled as a comedy.

As sad as it is, I watch Jaws at least 3 times a year. It's genius on so many levels.
I've seen the actual rubber shark, it emerges against the little tram thingy at Universal studios in Hollywood, but never seen the film.
I've never fancied it, same for Star Wars.

Like I said, it was tremendous fun.

Make some time in your day, sit down, and prepare to be blown away by the incredible opening 5 minutes (and the drama/characters that obviously follow).....and then kindly report back with your findings.
