Not long after Ralph Brand who was Joe's first signing.
 
I was 12 when City signed buzzer from Swindon, can any one remember if he cost us 35,000.

No cheating.

£35k as I remember. Well spent. Mike was a magnificent footballer.

IIRC, he scored for Swindon in our legendary 2-1 defeat in front of 8015(?) poor souls at Maine Road in 1964.

As I recall, Alan Oakes gave the ball straight to Summerbee from a throw in.
