Could be that he knows but has to pretend he doesn't know anything until the deal is done.
But then again, why would he comment in the first place? So strange!

I doubt Akanji is playing silly games with the media. Chances are he doesn't know indeed.

Wouldn’t be shocked if it’s the club trying to pressure certain players out.

So we're in a reverse Isak situation then lol, shame we don't have the option just pull a Maresca and straight up tell everyone not in the squad to fuck off until the Conference League gets underway.

Suppose this is where Viana earns his money, its all sunshine and rainbows buying shiny new players, this is the mucky part of being a DOF

Maybe it might be wild to think this but we need players gone 3 i think. Maybe Viana is putting feelers out to see who wants our players. This just feels like that, that the club want him gone to free up room.

Oops! ;-)

Look like a case of premature speculation from Fabrizio there...
If you look at what Romano has been saying, nothing has actually changed. He's been clear that the clubs have been talking and found an agreement, and now Galatasaray are going to try and agree a deal with Akanji.

Akanji commenting on Romano's post saying he's heard nothing about a transfer is bizarre, unless Romano has made it up completely - which let's be honest, is very unlikely.

What’s this gala shit ? what’s the occasion for ?

The problem is that the Turkish league is a big step down from City. Going to Juventus or Leverkusen or even Bilbao might seem more enticing, as the respective leagues are competitive and miles better than the Turkish one.

Ederson is a bit mad in a positive sense, can see him flirting with Galatasaray. Not sure about Akanji, though.

Unless the players were told find a new club, they haven't done their part so Viana is doing it for them. Why Galatasaray is now involved
