It's Quiet the £250m return

What do you mean

Arteta’s leadership is poor - he swings between over celebrating and getting giddy when things go well And equally overreacted and apportioning blame to everyone but himself when things go badly. Players needs a leader who is more balanced and focussed but Arteta seems like a manic depressive.

Interesting views mate!

I think Arsenal will be proper firm this season. Added very good players and given themselves better depth and more options. If Gyokores works out they’ll win a good few games they wouldn’t have won without him.

Their best bit of business has gone criminally under the radar though. Noogaard from Brentford. Absolutely quality little player. So intelligent. Keep an eye on him.

They're an interesting one Arsenal, the tactics, the signings, the absolutely unadventurous approach.

I feel like they're set up to cement 3rd, rather going all out and risking falling further.

Just a lot of recycled pep ideas without anything cohesive to knit them together and I feel like they're stifling odegaard, saka and martinelli.

The only players who seem to really exceed their level at Arsenal and saliba and gabriel because they play most games like Kurt angle.

I wouldn't be shocked if Gyokeres doesn't work out, they play like they need a false 9, have two decent ones then moan they're not out and out goalscorers.

The media have always expected the final piece to be a striker, but they've grossly underestimated what it takes to win the title. It's not just the talent on the pitch, it's the tactical ability of the manager and the mentality of the players. They whole squad have been so obsessed with the idea that they're close to winning the title, I'm not sure they truly believe they can win it. And I don't think Arteta is better now than he was. If anything he's worse. He seems more focussed on the small percentages - the set pieces, the play acting and the childish behaviour, than he does on the footballing style and philosophy.

They also don't have a home ground anyone is scared to play at. The dippers win most at Anfield, we win most at the Etihad. No one is scared to go to the Emirates and they drop far too many points there, where the fans expect to see proper football. This season is huge for them. A bad start and the fans turn and it will become a disaster. They won't mind the turgid football if it brings success, but they will if it looks like it's failing.

Eze is a great signing for them, but it's a big step up for him. He's the signing arguably they should have made instead of Madueke who, in my opinion, is shite!

The way all the Liverpool players laughed at Rice and Arsenal at the PFA awards and how Rodri belittled them at the last one with his speech about not playing to draw.

They don’t have the mentality and ultimately it comes from the manager, who sends his teams out to merely avoid defeat in big games. They don’t believe they are the best and so they are not the best.

The talent is there undoubtedly.

Yes that's an excellent window, but also doesn't bother me or make it worse if we kept Savinho and Ederson.

Agree. Personally I think they are improvements but we'd be in a great place with Eddie and Sav still.

Only thing we have missed is a RB but word is there were no options deemed good enough.

The only thing I find impressive about them is their defensive record. Other than that I know they struggle to beat a low block.

I’ve never worried about Arsenal and nothing has changed imo.

I imagine there is better out there than Rodrygo. We probably need to gather more scouting information on them, and we may not be able to gather that information by the end of this window. I just don't think Madrid scraps are the answer.

Nico Williams? Would make Rodri happy!

Likely a guy we haven't heard of yet but is on the club's radar. This transfer window the club acquired a number of a players like Cherki and Tijjani who people had been talking about, but in the past, we have seen guys pop up nobody was talking about.

I still think Madrid is baiting the trap with Rodrygo and we won't take the bait.
