Savinho | City reject Spurs approach

Do you seriously, and like others have said, that we don`t want this to happen until after am tomorrow (Fri) as it stops him from playing against us ?
Seriously, they are never ever likely to play someone who will NOT have had his medical nor even trained with his new team mates and you expect him to be picked.
Deluded, as are all the others who think this.
It makes it so its an impossibility rather than an improbability.

Nah, Mate, I've got plenty of appreciation for what it takes...trust me...

Out of curiosity when you see the number of clubs in need of attackers, how come nobody has bid for him?

You'd think if he were actually better than Rodrygo, then the queue to sign him would be very long. Bournemouth are a selling club, and not even a particularly difficult club to deal with in that sense as witnessed by the sales of their two CB's.

If we don't need to replace Savinho and fancy Bobb as the better prospect, then we'll sell him.

However, neither Marmoush nor Cherki nor Foden are wingers. If Doku gets injured and Savinho is out, then Bobb is the only proper winger.

If we have Savinho, he can be rotated with Bobb and Doku on the wings.

Replacing Savinho with Rodrygo is too expensive, and Rodrygo will expect more minutes, which would be at the expense of Doku, Marmoush and Bobb or even Cherki. It's hardly surprising we seem reluctant to sell Savinho.

The OL fan on here claimed Cherki was better off the wing

I agree that £70m is about the right figure for Savinho, but we don't need the cash so why would we strengthen another Prem team unless there was an opportunity to significantly strengthen ourselves?

I'd rather keep Savinho than bring in Rodrygo on a much higher wage. I just don't see him as a significant upgrade, Sav is reportedly on £40k a week whereas Rodrygo would be wanting £240K+, so at least 6x more.

Other than Rodrygo I don't see any other top level options to replace Savinho for less than £70m, maybe more knowledgeable posters can suggest some names.

Selling Savinho leaves us vulnerable to injuries, especially to Doku so we would have to replace him IMO.

Word is Bournemouth value him at 70 million pound. Teams have inquired about him.
I'm not going to have a massive debate over Semenyo. At the current Rodrygo can't get a sniff at Real (and I like the player).
BTW, whenever we play Bournemouth Semenyo causes a fair share of worry. I'm sorry but if we were to face Savinho AT THE PRESENT I wouldn't be all that troubled. That's JMHO. I'll just leave it at that.
