Well his akanji story yesterday was quickly deleted if city were to sign rodrigo after signing 3 wide players over last 2 seasons id be start to question our transfer strategy especially as he offers nothing more than we already have Imo.

It`s not toys, its about improving and being successful? I know the old crew are happy now but luckily enough we are owned by winners who want to keep winning and not be someone who is just happy to have been alive to see us win everything? They dont write seasons off, they dont want to bed players in for a season and Viana will want success in his first season as DOF? Its a mindset between winners and losers that makes the difference and Khaldoon is trying to grow a legacy winning brand for generations to come?

Rodrygo coming in would just be denying Marmoush, Cherki, Foden and Bobb of game time. Not for me. Appreciate your view though. We are winners with a manager who appreciates (a) good characters and ( b) a smaller squad

Anyone expecting a replacement will likely be sad at the result. Pep said he wants a smaller squad, and the only way that happens is if we sell and don't replace. So unless it's a fire sale for Rodrygo I would be floored if we sign someone.

80mil Euros is the exact price we ask for Savinho. Hopefully we accept so we can get Rodrygo, Madrid is willing to sell him for 90mil Euros now, even less as the transfer window is coming to an end allegedly.
It would be crazy to not accept double the money we paid for him after only 1 season in which he had 1 PL goal.

I would sell him only if we had some sort of replacement /addition lined up for RW, that is a good fee for someone who hasnt shown a huge amount so far, however if we are just going to sell him and bank the money I would keep him as think thats more useful for the team. The issue is i dont see who that replacement might be, not sold on Rodrygo for the cost/wages and dont see other names mentioned.

Savinho is on low wages and is a very young player still, he could easily develop into a top player i have no doubt, i just dont see him becoming a "superstar" player, happy to be proven wrong if he stays.
