Will be interesting to see how Pep uses Cherki/Foden over the course of the year.

Hopefully we see them in the middle and still play two wide players. But will depend on the opposition and our own availability.

For me today should be the same side but with Marmoush in on the left for Doku.

Im very confident after that Wolves game however this reminds me of the game in 19/20 when we hosted them after a very big win away at a team starting with W. I know we are a far different team if not completely different team now but i just hope Pep gets it right. Would give me a load of confidence going into Arsenal and United in the next month or so.

I'd like to see Cherki get a start but not sure where, so many options. Would be good to have Reijnders, Cherki, Foden and Bobb swapping and making runs behind Haaland, would be mad to try to defend.

Good old Lonnie he used to visit relatives regularly in Oldfield Brow (Altrincham) and always had time for a chat.

Had one of his sons as an entertainer on a cruise and he was superb.
One of, if not the biggest influence on a certain John Lennon I believe. Anyway, back to the thread in hand. C'MON CITY!!! Give these Chas n Dave wankers a good pasting!

On the way to the game

Wonder if we'll see

Trafford
Stones, Dias, (3rd CB)
Bernardo, Gonzalez, Reijnders, Ait-Nouri
Cherki, Haaland, (Winger)

Totally different test to Wolves last week.

Wolves will be looking over their shoulder all season at the bottom 3 teams.

Spurs will be challenging for European places IMO.

Plus the cockney twats seem to have our number over the last few games.

I think they will jam their way to a couple of goals and we will snatch a draw.

Stuck in the tiny Spanish village of Deia with almost no chance of watching the game. Too far away from bars, and the hotel staff have no idea how to get it on the telly. Absolutely gutted.

Up the fucking Blues, anyway

Spurs have been very good in preseason. And TF is a pretty good manager.

This feels like a tough early season battle to me.
I think Thomas Frank is an excellent manager. He got Brentford in the Premier League and they have survived 4 seasons playing exciting football in the right way.

Anyway, today is the day we thrash spuds. Come on City!

4-1
