Jesus the days we would be scored against, which woke up the beast - (silva, aguero, yaya, zaba, vinny, etc etc those players took it as an insult and would put 4 past them)

Said at half time to my son that the 2nd half will highlight the makeup of this current squad - and it wasnt great at all

Dont know what has happened but we didnt even look like getting back into the game
 
Second goal was just a terrible play by Trafford but we look listless. Created nothing. Tottenham has us out of any rhythm with their press and constant pressure. Good game plan by them and we were putrid
 
That didn't exactly go as planned.

I thought we started well enough but just lost our way a bit after RAN went off. Having said that, both their goals came from our mistakes and we had chances of our own that we didn't put away. Really feel for Trafford but hopefully the couple of saves he made near the end will give him a bit of a confidence boost.

I genuinely believe that we have plenty of talent in our squad and when they gel, we will take some stopping. It didn't happen today and it might take a few games for it to really click.
 
We played wolves last week , cannon fodder, we're cookin, we gonna win the league, the treble and bang, we played an average side, at home, shows where we really are. That was shocking!!!!

I don't care. I'm consistent. I've said it for 15 months. This ain't pep fc. I'm grateful for everything the players and he brought us. Completely unimaginable in my youth. And finding a replacement will be hard. But fuck if I'm not bored shitless at Pearce levels watching us pass pass pass pass and he's been thoroughly out coached by Al hilal and spurs ffs in the last 3 games.
 
Positives only:

An improvement on last year's result

The kitman surely won't forget to fit studs to the players' boots every week

On the whole, I think the main reasons we lost won't be a regular thing:

- Misplacing simple passes, poor finishing, poor final decisions, forgetting how to dribble (Doku??) are unlikely to be regular occurrences
- Lack of sharpness points to the team not yet being match fit

If we're still seeing this kind of performance in a month's time I'll start to worry
 
That was pish, collapsed after their first goal This current team has the mentality of an injured grasshopper. We have spent a lot of money on players who are inconsistent and cannot string 2./3 good performances together.
Somebody have a word with Pep behind the scenes and ask him not to play Lewis so often.
Cherki was crap today...as was Dias...another 4 years of him being poor at the back and showing us his big firm tits on Instagram 10 times a day.
