Today we missed a few big chances, made 2 mistakes which we were punished for, lost an important player to injury for whom we have no adequate replacement and then played sloppy afterwards.

Last years utter disaster of a summer re transfers has set us back so so much, and that was down to him.
Hows he leaving us set “best he can”? That makes no sense
not sure how many times he needs to play and get beaten by Thomas Frank to know what to expect, spurs midfield is packed with strength and athleticism. Their full backs and wingers are just speed merchants so we decided to stick with people like Lewis. It’s insanityI think, and i hope I'm wrong, he may have been thrown off by Spurs approach.
Because the line up we played, similar to Wolves in a sense, assumed Spurs would sit back and so RAN and Lewis makes sense to overload in numbers.
But Thomas Frank brought his press to Spurs and Pep already solved this at the end of last season when he used the 4222 with Nunes and O Reilly as wide fullbacks.
It perfectly baits the press and beats it with fullbacks and split strikers.
