Worked with no issues at all in N2. I'd be amazed if it doesn't bring up your mugshot within the next year or two to stop people sharing tickets.
Half empty stadiums + dust-ups with the bods outside will ensue. Would it stop an MEN Arena type bombing? No.Worked with no issues at all in N2. I'd be amazed if it doesn't bring up your mugshot within the next year or two to stop people sharing tickets.
You are lucky. It took me 80 mins. It looked like it would be half time before we'd get in, but then suddenly they said turnstile K was working. It would let some people in but NFS wasn't working for me.Entrance E.
Took 34 minutes from joining queue to sitting in seat.
Saw Kickoff
No food and drink had in that time, you’re loss city.
Outside was chaos , unable to distinguish between entrance D and E.
Constant queue jumping, lots of f’in and jeffin.
Where had the barriers gone which have in the past been used to help queues form.
A lot of angry customers but it wasn’t the fault of the hand held security stewards.
At least 3 people told to calm down or they won’t get in
Scanners at the gates were slow between each customer, having to wait till 1 clears before the next.
Will I be there next game ?
Of course I will, but maybe a little earlier so I can spend money on beer and food, after all that’s what city really want.
On a side note, bloke next to me from Singapore paid £140.00 to a ticket site to watch that awful game
Thought the sameNo issues at all, easier process than last season.
No Fucking chance. What is NFC? New Fangled Contraption?
It felt like that at some point they just let people in. Twice lots of fans suddenly appeared in one go like barriers were openedYou are lucky. It took me 80 mins. Hand held scanners at ‘H’ too. No issues thereNew seat.Entrance Y hand held scanners.
I will get a plastic card. Thousands of businesses use google pay and NFC but we can't get it to work reliably. You are utterly useless. And there is no one to blame but incompetent and useless management.City moved to digital ticketing some years ago and comply with the PL rules already. Any suggestion today is the PL's fault is a red herring.
Looking at the PL rules I'd suggest that anyone who had difficulty entering the stadium for an event that they'd paid for and were refused entry to contact the club and quote the following:
Rule 16.2: “Clubs must provide reasonable accommodations for supporters unable to access digital tickets, including alternative formats upon request.”
You bet your bottom dollar you are. You are in effect a financial inconvenience, whose continued seasoncard ownership is hogging one of their assets from making a better return.Turnstile C was a shitshow. Arrived at 11.45 to be greeted by huge queues. Took 35 mins overall to get in and finally in my seat as the players walked out. Didnt spend a penny on food or booze all day inside the ground so City's loss on that score.
Considering you pay through the eyeballs for Premier League footy you shouldn't have to pass a plethora of criteria to keep your ticket, an IT test just to be able to get your ticket and then a battle just to get into the ground.
The club don't give a shit about the match going fanbase. They are more interested in cultivating "engagement" worldwide and growing the brand. They want a different set of fans every week who'll buy a shirt, a programme, do the tour and stay in the hotel when it's up to maximise the fan footprint.
I'm a Mancunian, I live within 8 miles of the ground, I don't buy a programme, go in the shop or buy anything other than a pre match pint. I'm thus the sort of legacy fan they want to replace.
The BBC said that they opened the gates and let folk in 10 minutes before KO.It felt like that at some point they just let people in. Twice lots of fans suddenly appeared in one go like barriers were opened
