9 | Erling Haaland - 2025/26

Waves people forward to press, watches as they don't bother. Makes runs in-between the centre backs, watches as they don't pass it to him. Gets bollocked on here after being our 6th highest top scorer in history after only 3 SEASONS.
 
I dunno, man. When he was injured at the end of last season we looked solid and as soon as he came back in we went back to looking a bit toothless every other game. That trend had continued and it's fine to question whether we're at our best with him in the team. Either find a system that plays to his strengths or start someone else up front.
 
I think it's becomes increasingly baffling how some still cannot understand that with the way we play, Haaland can have little impact if he isn't provided for. The idea he doesnt do anything else is stupid, he's not being asked to do anything else. The very rare occasion we alter a gameplan and look to involve haaland more in the build up, he does it and does it well. He's essentially getting it in the neck for following instructions and not doing the things pep is specifically telling him not to do.

Had to score that header though, thats a great chance and should be buried. Also should have had a wonderful assist but for poor finishing from Marmoush.

He’s paid to score goals which he does but don’t try and make out we have a messi in our ranks and end of day I ain’t knocking him as he is provably one of the most natural scorers out there .

He's a million miles away from 'excellence'. He's a big donkey who scores lots of goals if you give him the ball regularly. Barney Daniels with a ponytail.

Pep doesn't seem to have had a clue how to use him properly for the last two seasons.

In a Pep system, Haaland is a luxury player.

He's not remotely a donkey. Pep doesn't use him properly.
 
Not the problem today. Midfield and defence had a big problem and that’s where the game was lost.

I often wonder what they said to him to sign that deal. Because having Bernardo and Doku supporting him just won’t cut it.
