Pep Ljinders appointed as assistant coach | James French joins as set-piece coach (p15)

It doesn't seem like our set piece coach has been doing much so far.

Corners, still crap. Still hitting the first man on a regular basis. Free kicks? Meh.
Him and kolo were very active in the technical area to be fair

I was very optimistic with the staff change, hopefully after few months serious difference will be visible in our play, speed, off the ball game etc.

found odd Kolo spent more time standing up and a few shouts than Lijnders. they used to say Lijnders was the tactical brain next to Klopp.

lets see how another week of drills will work vs Brighton.

Somebody (Rodri?) wasted a free header from a corner and it went straight into the keeper's hands. Another day that goes in and we praise our set piece coach.

Me to, watching wolves you could see more pace in our game plus counter attacking at speed. I thought Lijnders was having input.
I thought great that's go.

Then yesterday ! Old slow last season football

Why do Arsenal keep on scoring from corners and City never do?

Doesn’t our corner coach watch Arsenal games?

And if he does, why isn’t he using their corner tactics?

It’s not fucking hard to do and to replicate is it?
