Unfortunately, the difficult upcoming schedule (Manchester United and Arsenal) doesn't allow for points to be dropped at Brighton. There are too many new players, and veterans like Bernardo are mere shadows of their former selves.

I don't want a novice midfielder like the one we have today (Nico Gonzalez, Reijnders, Cherki). It took Rodri a full season to assimilate Pep's system and gradually replace Fernandinho, even though he was surrounded by experienced players like KDB and Gundogan.

This season will determine the future of some players, like Nico Gonzalez, and whether to spend on Baleba or Wharton. The same goes for Doku, which will be a pivotal season for him.

Last weekend I tried not to take too much away from a good result at Wolves with Wolves being Rubbish.
But the drop off today was mind blowing.
Surely we cant very that bad again. CTID

Go back to what works. And at least give us a chance of building up from the back and playing through the lines. And of being compact defensively.
If it’s an expansive, basketball-style match we’ll struggle.
Dias would be fucking lucky to start but should be ok with Khusanov and Gvardiol next to him.

Seeing as rico and Dias been given new contracts and a lot of us don’t want them in the starting lineup says everything.
After the last 18 months I’m not confident of a win in any game anymore, criticise me all you want but that’s how I feel.
As for the game I’m going for a win only because we can’t possibly be any worse than yesterday. Please pep no bernado or Dias
Won’t happen of course.
