Getting rid of all of those players takes us down to 24, which I feel is still too big of a squad for Pep. The signings of Rodrygo and Donnarumma would just be like-for-like, so still leave us at 24. We need a defensive midfielder who can control the midfield not another box to box midfielder that can’t attack or defend to the desired level. We miss the old Rodri the most and have no one to fill in for him.

He makes our playing out from the back suicidal. He is also very poor at c9mkng for crosses.

Signing Livramento isn’t as expensive as ending up about 8th and winning nothing again. Sign the best available for every position or be mediocre.

You don’t. Ewe the best scouting network in the world. There‘s some guy called Vanderson out there but pep wants exclusive fullback to do whatever so as long he is here - the obvious solution won’t be joining us

Gusto at Chelsea was the one. Steady defender and energetic enough to get forward too. Plus they’re likely always looking for a sale so they can buy a shiny new toy!
