Perhaps. A lot of suggestions about the lineup next weekend but so far none, to my eyes, offer a realistic solution. I am beginning to think we really are fucked. Still I am going for a win because anything less than a share of the points seems unbearable.

Will be the last fixture for some players, who may leave thereafter, if not before, but I somehow don’t think there will be time nor inclination for any emotional farewells.

I'd go back to the box midfield with Foden (or Cherki) coming in from the Left and Ait-Nouri effectively playing left wing like how Gvardiol used to.

Watching Grealish today. He shows more defences qualities than any wingers we have and he has assisted 2 goals. One with a great cross the other by attracting players to him to free up his fullback for a strike on goal. With 8mins to go he hasn't lost the ball once.

Marmoush is wasted out wide and Cherki needs some time I guess and is better as an impact player currently. Nunes has to start. We started winning when playing 2 attacking fullbacks like every other club does but somehow reverted to our inverted bullshit where our wingers are expected to outdribble 3-4 players 90% of the game while being in absolute isolation.

edit: never mind I now understand what you meant with attracting players

Trafford should be no where near the starting 11, weak hand for the first goal maybe slightly unsighted the second goal complete brain fart from him, play it wide to the full back not to a player straight i front of goal, who has an opposition player right up his arse

These back fours I keep seeing listed don’t fill me with confidence. We need to play a CB at right back until we sign one.
