It's Quiet the £250m return

Not sure that’s a bonus if they’ve both been agitating for a move.

Guess it depends on the level of agitation. Savinho is a kid so I reckon that situation will be fine. But with Ederson it is a bit of a worry. as per my reply to @Coatigan I think City should've dealt with the Eddie situation one way or the other earlier in the window.

Yeah I was a bit worried that Wolves caused us problems but couldn't finish. That 4-0 papered over cracks.

We allowed too many easy transitions to both teams.

And that's down to team selection/ tactics.
It´s still kind of the same as it was last season. Really hasn´t seen much improvement yet or that this team is playing different football. Nee to get the 3 points on sunday ,cause tough games are coming up fast and team needs to improve

Bluemoon is my life - sad as it may seem

Tried to take my own life in 2010 and can honestly say this place helps me everyday

With out this place I'd be gone
Hey Blue! Keep that chin up my friend. There's always something positive around every corner. I know it's hard sometimes, been there myself but there is a light at the end of the tunnel. And if bluemoon keeps you sane! Fill your boots my blue friend. CTWD

Long before the window opened, I thought we desperately needed a bit more physicality in midfield, a goalkeeper who could save us in tight games, and a consistently dependable right-back. Management evidently thought our priorities lay elsewhere, and whilst I’m pleased with the additions made, those three concerns remain unaddressed.

Nunes is, at best, a mediocre Premier League right back, like Lewis.

Unfortunately, until we buy a good one we'll have issues in that position.
He is our best option for now and mediocre is bizarre way to put it. I don't think there is more than probably two RB's in the league id pick over him.

I would have added the lack of reliable CB bar Gvardiol (who is currently injured) as a major area to look at. Obviously this is with the caveat that we write off Khus and Reis for the near future.

Given that we had invested so heavily in that department in January, both financially and numerically, I expected our ailments there to have been remedied. Time will tell.

We’re like a really big family, argue and bicker but love and support each other when needed. Hope you’re ok, reach out if you need a chat/rant

Gut feeling is that for all the noise, both Savinho and Ederson are still City players after the window closes.
Have to agree. Galatasaray clearly have money, but seemingly don't want to pay our asking price, which is a completely reasonable one IMO. The GK situation has become a bit of a mess though with Traffords horror show Saturday.
Savinho I honestly couldn't care less about, think he's a bang average footballer who's had his head turned. Not surprised spurs won't go any higher.

You have an advantage over me then, as I've never studied Donnarumma in great detail if I'm being honest. I've just noted his over all performances & drawn the conclusion that imo, he's vying for the best keeper in the world title alongside Ederson.

Both have their key advantages. Ederson is clearly the best keeper in the world with his feet. My point was that I'd never noticed Donnarumma being shit with his feet to the level that many on BM are saying.

That video showing the stats of 5 elite keepers was very revealing. Ederson isn't the shit shot stopper many were making him out to be, & Donnarumma isn't as shit with his feet as many were making out either.

Ederson is an enigma. There may never be another like him, but if he wants out, I can't think of a better replacement than Donnarumma. If we have to slightly adjust the way we play, then so be it.

We've lost legends before & never replaced them like for like. We got excellent replacement players who evolved our squad & became legends in their own right (Fernandinho & Rodri).

We'll have to do it again if Ederson does indeed leave this summer or next.
I dont disagree with most of that.

I dont think Donna is the answer, i pay more attention to Keepers than more. Diogo Costa made more sense than Donna, i mean for us not as an overall keeper.

I think you will notice it once he starts playing for us. Dont get me wrong i hope I am miles wrong and he is top notch for us. To be clear, I want to be wrong here!

It goes both ways with young players. They are also younger, less disciplined and can be more volatile as well. Savinho is sitting out games and seems to be pushing for this move.

We don't want a situation where he is in and out of the team with a "knock" until January when this situation comes up again.

I'm fine with all of those except Donnarumma who is a bigger downgrade than Trafford!

Pep insists on Ederson style tactics with keepers not named Ederson and we've tried with Bravo, Caballero, Muric, Steffen, Ortega and now Trafford.

We're gonna lose like 9 games before Pep figures out Donnarumma isn't Ederson and can't build up like Ederson!
Completely clueless. Donna big downgrade on James?! Weird

Gusto, James, Frimpong, Livramento, Porro, Munoz and Aina are all better than him, and that's just off the top of my head.

He's an average Wolves midfielder who's played a few times at right back because we were desperate.

Did we not have the best stats in the league last year from something like Jan onwards bar Liverpool ?
The club and Pep will get it right
There have been numerous factors in play
I think we won the most points over the last 6-7 weeks of the season after the Dippers had all but secured the title & Arsenal had secured 2nd, & both were concentrating on the CL.

We won the points without having to face a top team, & it was the manner of our performances that still gave me cause for concern.

This is my point exactly!

Yet many of us are blaming the players & ignoring how they're setup & being asked to play.

Thats your opinion.

Yeah, then made the position his own till Pep decided to throw it away and bench him for no good reason.

I've not payed much attention to Costa either in truth, so I'll cede to your better knowledge. I just hope we sort out the Ederson situation soon & make the right, long-term choice to replace him.

I think by the end of the deadline day our squad will stay exactly as it is now. No outgoings because Galatasaray are being tight fuckers and I think we'll be wanting more than they're offering for Ederson. Don't think it will be easy to shift Gundo and Akanji as well

If we don’t get an offer for Ederson from Gala in the next couple of days loan him to Girona for 12 months.
