This not letting them buy players or loan players is effecting more the club the fans and make the club drop lower lose more money more in debt until they go bust

From the EFL's perspective it's because he will not commit to funding going forward, from their point of view I fully get it.

Obviously it doesn't help us as the squad is threadbare, but here we are.

I like Wednesday and their fantastic fanbase- I don't dislike the Blades either, two proper clubs. It sickens me to the stomach though that the corrupt media and their sycophant readers in this country have mullored City. Yet in reality all these shite changes to the financial rules, as they go along were brought in to stop another Pompey? It fucking stinks, yet the fanboy media now either haven't got the brains to see what is/was going on- or more likely don't want to lose a single click for telling the truth. FUCKING COWARDS.

That will change this weekend, from then on we will stay bottom.

If the expected points deduction is large (12 or above) I think we'll struggle not to finish on a minus points tally.

I think that is one of powers that the IFR will have, to take a club away from an owner who is not meeting their obligations.

I could see us being a test case/benchmark for clubs going forward

I remember when Sheffield Wednesday was part of the elite. I attended the 1969 Cup Final courtesy of the son of the FA chairman. Like Villla, it became a neutral semi final ground cash cow as a symbol of failure.

Now it is a financial pawn with the FA incompetence exposed.

In the world of finance the Bank of England can declare a bank 'failing or likely to fail' they then have special powers to force through sales and make share holders take a hit.

The new football regulator should have Ann equivalent. If it doesn't its a waste of space.

Correct. Governments can do whatever they want but generally they avoid such direct action and prefer to use independent regulators to take any politics out of it. The Chelsea case was pure politics.
