Also, are you comparing like for like? EG: Was Nunes playing as an inverted FB, or was Rico playing as an over/underlapping FB so we can contrast on compare the roles they played?

Whilst you provide your source & clarify who played in what system so we can contrast & compare, it's the inverted FB system I have a particular issue with, as it's clearly not working & that has less to do with the personnel imo, & more to do with the tactic itself. I'll wait...

That isn't necessarily a bad thing. Players tend to cling to Madrid as well. We don't necessarily want guys to think the grass is greener on the other side.

Showing 0 ambition. He was literally not included on the team bus and we still had some players injured. You would think he would move on and not let his ego in the way. He should ask himself a question why are the likes of Gala or Palace bidding for him, and not Real Madrid etc.

I've supplied the stats and I also have the proof as I can see with my eyes how poor Lewis is

He obviously isn't poor though, you might not be a fan or think he's good enough as our right back, fair enough. A poor player doesn't get picked at his age as regularly as he does by Pep if they are poor, nor do they get Forest looking to pay £30mill for him and it getting turned down.

Given the lack of snippets you got to doubt too much is going to happen now. Looks like we will keep pretty much what we have and look at things again in January.

He's only doing what all other parties are doing - holding out for the best deal. He doesn't have a lot of time but he still has some. Unsurprisingly he's using that time to see if he can get a better deal. Talk of zero ambition might feel more pertinent if he's still with us after the window has closed. I don't think he will be.

The "respect" strawman argument again. Nobody is "disrespecting" him. Was Pep disrespectful to Sunday last when he wasn't included? Will it be disrespectful when he isn't registered for the Champions League? Surely, the Pep, and his staff, are also not respecting him either, yeah?

No. You've given me an unsubstantiated quote. I'm merely asking you to provide the source where you got your information from. Again, if it's just your personal opinion "as I can see with my eyes how poor Lewis is", then that's fine.

However, if you're dressing up your personal opinion as empirical fact, I'd like to see your source which I think is a perfectly reasonable request.

Do you have the empirical evidence to back up your claim? It's a simple yes or no. If yes, I'd appreciate it if you'd supply your source. Thanks in advance...
