Rangers thread | 2025/26

Brugge are taking you to the cleaners. We drew with them last year, great team. They would maul us too. That's how far we gave nosedived. Form has crashed because we are playing guys who should never be starters. Yang, abysmal last night. From Khun and Jota to that. Forrest was the Jannie at my school and he's still starting. Idah, the Clydesdale trying to trap a tennis baw. Can't dribble. Hopeless in the air, canny score. No replacement fir Kyogo since January. CCV McGreggor Engels Maeda all atrocious.

That game last night was the worst I've ever endured. I am therefore low on optimism.

Don't come here very often but...

You did watch us last night? We couldn't beat a pub team ffs. We are pish right now.
I was embarrassed at the capitulation in the second half against Liverpool but there were mitigating circumstances

THIS is a complete fucking shit show and I’m sorry but I’ve seen enough. He surely cannot survive this.

Credit where it’s due. Brugge look a very decent outfit but it’s been far FAR too easy for them

It was funny the first time……

8-1 down and still a half to play. Don’t follow Rangers fortunes much but could the manager be short-lived here(?)

Brugge are alright. They'll do bugger all in the champs lge. We are making them look extraordinary. To capitulate like this is inexcusable.

At this rate I'd genuinely take Barry back.

I'm all for working through 'teething problems' when a need guy comes in and tries to change things and stick to his principles but every performance barring an hour against Plzen has been ropey at best. Hemorrhageing chances every game against piss poor opposition and this game tonight is already humiliating with a full half still to go. Impossible to back the current manager at this point even if it is early days. You cannot put the club through this kind of embarrassment and expect to be given time to fix it.

I must admit, looking in from the outside, I thought he was highly fortunate to get such a big job in the first place.
I didn't understand it myself but was more than willing to give him time. He's made himself and the club look a complete laughing stock since the season started and this is the icing on the cake tonight.

Sunday really has potential to be toxic. In fact I expect it to be exactly that. It'll be a first OF to remember but probably not for the right reasons.

I’ve been very much of the opinion that they can’t sack but now I’m thinking they cannot not sack him.

I was going to buy the Europa package but after this shit show if he’s still manager I won’t be paying out whatever price it is

Thank God for Jack Butland

I believe you’re correct RE the goals conceded

I just don’t understand how he can give that initial interview and say he knows he has to be able to change his philosophy and be able to adapt. He is failing and he has lost the support completely. I’m usually one that ll try and find the positives to cling to but for me he’s a dead man walking.

What I would say is never underestimate the value of a convincing Old Firm victory. A resounding victory next week will buy him time with many and close the gap significantly

I guess his initial interview was complete bollox (i won't say i told you....but i did)......he won't change, and he sees himself as untouchable, it's always someone else's fault, wish he'd stayed at Southampton.....they'd be on a one way ticket to League 1 this season.
