Sadly, for me, this new League format doesn’t exactly scream “Champions” League, with teams from all over and far from Champions are the vast majority of the teams.
That said, this format produces FAR MORE BIG GAMES for the global TV audience, and creates a bigger pool of prize money, so don’t expect the teams or UEFA to complain about it!
Now, it’s all about who were are playing when! Couple of key fixtures in that mix could make or break our progression, so I fully expect them to be squeezed between a couple of big PL games, with lots of traveling involved!!
