His City story is on the Official Website now. So I have had a good read and a good listen and I still say he is the very best. :-)
Has been called up again for the England squad. Now I understand how proud he must feel to be part of and play for England but considering how little football he played for us last season. Perhaps he could do with considering his stance for England and concentrate on his career at City?……..Or will this fall on deaf ears?
Course you did EB, although for City’s sake, I wish he’d retire from international football. As soon as I read that he had been picked I knew what was coming!!
He'll be fine, he'll be fine, he'll be fine. :-) (fingers & toes crossed)
He should remember who pays his wages and paid them when he spent so much time on the treatment table and it’s not Herr Tuchel or the FAThis will be his last chance to play at a world cup and the England manager will want as much time as possible with players and Stones probably won't wanna diminish his chances of being a world cup starter by picking and choosing when he turns up for England.
Folk are saying Tuchel should be smart and realise overplaying Stones before then might be a problem but Tuchel has no loyalty to City. He wants to see his team as much as possible before next summer.
