Bodo 20th January. North of the arctic circle. It’ll be freezing, dark and on a 4G plastic pitch. UEFA insisted that their last match (28th Jan) was played away due to the conditions which presumably will be much worse the week after we have to go there…

Just booked my flight to Alicante for Villarreal. Out on the Monday morning and back on the Wednesday evening so decent flight times. £216 with Ryanair. Started at £174 and payment got refused twice but still not a bad price. Think it helps that there are multiple flights to Alicante across different airlines so prices aren’t going up quite as quickly as you’d expect.

Only problem I’ve got is that I’ve not had it confirmed from work yet that I can get the time off so if I can’t there might be a flight going for sale ha ha.

Final round is only on one night (Wednesday) with all matches at same time, so I assume to keep tv companies happy they get 3 nights of games in the first round to compensate.
