Alexander Isak | Cried his way to a £130m move

Fair play on the time and effort put into it. The first one I googled, Reijnders, not seeing any add-ons mentioned in the first 3 articles, all just quote a 46m fee. Darwin, seeing the base fee, no add-ons.
I get various outlets put different reports out.

Looking at BBC's and Sky's headline figures, their net spend still comes out as 160m+. Crazy that add-ons can drop that by 100m!
Thank you, yes a lot of effort goes in and in always adjusting.

I look at multiple sources and try put the best one. The athletic, bbc and sky sports are generally more reliable also dependent on journalist that reports it I go with it. I’ve got a button to remove add ons but it doesn’t change much as their purchases also have add ons so their “net” is pretty accurately around that range.

As much as I hate to always admit, Liverpool are fantastic transfer operators whether we like it or not. City and Liverpool for me are the best in the country when it comes to “balancing” while still being successful

In fairness, I have never disagreed with the point that their net spend is very good and that they do well with sales. Just the amount noted. But you have done a lot more research and found figures I haven't seen reported, granted. Funny how allntheir outgoing transfersnhave add-ons, but 4 of their incomings don't.

My point does stand though. Their net spend is often mentioned, ours rarely.

Don’t worry we have them beat on the 5 year net

Apparently according to Bein, Jan Fjortoft saying deal agreed for £130mil.
If Newcastle sells for anything less than 150 million pounds, it will be humiliating for Newcastle. I won't be surprised if they sell for something like 90 million +20 million addons

I thought if Newcastle excepted around that much I’d say it fair fee but they let him go for anything less they’ve been bullied
Their place in system has been laid out for them. They’ll be back voting with the red shirts in next to no time and getting a pat on their heads for their troubles.

Fair points, but I think some of it’s way more complicated than it looks from the outside.

Viana deserves credit for a lot of the incomings this summer. We’re not overpaying for panic buys, and that’s smart business in a market full of inflated rubbish.

On the outgoings though, it’s not always the club’s fault. Players have to want to move also. Akanji’s had offers but so far doesn’t want to go. Stones has said he never wants to leave. Kovacic is injured, so it's hard to shift a player who can’t pass a medical. Ederson seems to be stalling. Spurs didn’t meet the asking price for Savinho. Shifting Kalvin Phillips is like trying to sell a Sofa on Facebook Marketplace.

Rodrygo might’ve been approached, but that doesn’t mean he wanted the move to Manchester.

You can’t force players out or magic up buyers. Yes, we need a right back badly. We all see that. But moving pieces around to make room isn’t as simple as it sounds. You don’t just click “sell” and line up replacements. It will take another 12-18 months to see this squad take shape.

We are a Tino Livramento signing away from everyone calling this a 10/10 window. We clearly wanted the player, but Newcastle clearly did not want to sell. You can't blame the club for not trying.
I do appreciate the fact we are not overpaying so far under Viana.

is that fucking has been still trying to make himself relevant, he doesnt know anything.
Just watching him now on Bein, he’s at the swamp. Sticking to his fee agreed line, get the feeling he’s just guessing. Romano would have tweeted it by now if that was the case, although I still expect it will happen.

Liverpool made Newcastle their bitch. Bought their main target, got their best player - beat them at the st.james park and injured several players.
Yup.

Chelsea preparing a £150M. bid and also offering Jacksosn at a reduced price now the bayern deal is off as a sweetener

haha, would be nice if he goes to Chelsea just to fuck with dippers. not sure Isak wants to go there tho. he would deserve to be left hanging. I guess he would go back to apologize to Howe and the club and fans.

if they had a fit Isak last 3 games they would have surely more points than 2.
