What a farce.

It's really irrelevant if it's incompetence or if it's corruption because if you are that bad at your job and so incompetent, you should be demoted anyway.

The FA don't care because they are actually bent.

The sport isn't enjoyable anymore.

Then he should be sacked for that, its one or its the other and neither are acceptable
It is very clearly one and definitely not the other.

So they sack him and replace him with somebody even less competent? Sadly, these are the best available, they dont need sacking, they need training and the rules need simplifying.

Today is a perfect example of why VAR doesn't address the big issue of poor, incompetent, officiating.

These referees haven't gotten better with another layer of cotton wool and protection.. shocker.

My love for it is long gone since the implementation of VAR. it’s more of a passing interest now used to watch almost every game but now only City and a few others like today(I wish I hadn’t now). It’s destroyed the sport. Honestly,if those decisions were given in favour of City I’d be equally disgusted.
The horrible thing for me is that no matter how good the goal....English officials will go back as far as possible to rule it out tha is unless it is one of the red cartel plus Chelsea and Spurs!

Thing with American owners if there team keeps getting decisions against them they’ll threaten to sue the premier with loss of earnings then show proof of all the other similar same decisions being ignored!

Chelsea have var in there back pocket they should win the league

are you genuinely excusing this abomination today as a reason for more training? Come on mate you know better than that, there is no training available that makes you think that first goal was any kind of a foul and there is no training available that gives a handball against fulham and completely ignores the handball by the chelsea player, not to mention the push in the back, those mistakes are completely inexcusable and no training in the world will change that.

Surely the point is that the " best available " are supposed to have been trained already, before they are given the responsibility of officiating in such games ?

It's not incompetent reffing, he was told to go to the monitor the decision was already decided and relayed to him, the monitor was just theatre.

It's a good job this ref is only absolutely shit at his job and influencing the outcome of matches rather than he called someone a **** otherwise he'd be fired

Agreed. Which is why the claims to scrap var are crazy. How can people think the solution to extreme incompetence is to give incompetent officials less tools to affectively do their job.
