Ignoring the foul beforehand and the Chelsea handball.
I’d love to see Fulham walk off the pitch.
It’s bent as fuck.
2 exactly the same decisions in one game.
Fulham player stands on a Chelsea players foot - no goal.
Chelsea player stands on a Fulham player’s foot - ignored.

Said his last week, teams need to start walking off the pitch until it gets sorted. Needs to be called out, it’s nonsense and happening because people are letting it. Take action.

Michael Oliver will be phoning Rob Jones after and saying that was just like me when I reffed Liverpool v City at Anfield. Brilliant matey.

Two of the most ridiculous VAR interventions ever, scrap it before fans walk away. It isn’t netball
You can’t blame the VAR for the penalty though. He sent the ref to the monitor and the ref stuck with his decision which, had he done the same in the first half, would have been fair enough.

Agreed. Which is why the claims to scrap var are crazy. How can people think the solution to extreme incompetence is to give incompetent officials less tools to affectively do their job.
So we don't have to waste time going through the charade that is VAR?

Because it might actually force them to take some accountability for their decisions rather than referring to someone in a room miles away, they get paid 170k plus a year to hide behind another prick from miles away and STILL get it wrong regardless.

What baffles me is why dont managers call it out, take the fine and call out the injustice of it, literally point out the fact that a penalty wasnt given for the exact same challenge last week and a goal chalked off this weekend and ask why.
Silva will do I’m sure

are you genuinely excusing this abomination today as a reason for more training? Come on mate you know better than that, there is no training available that makes you think that first goal was any kind of a foul and there is no training available that gives a handball against fulham and completely ignores the handball by the chelsea player, not to mention the push in the back, those mistakes are completely inexcusable and no training in the world will change that.
Im not excusing anything, its completely inexcusable performance and there should be actions taken as a response to this shitshow but the false claims of corruption do nothing but cloud the genuine issues and calls to simply sack them would achieve absolutely nothing. The only solution is to make them better.

interesting how he stuck with one decision to benefit chelsea and didnt stick with the decision to benefit fulham.

It should never have been introduced

It should have been way down on the list of methods and priorities to address the officiating issue.

Accountability at the very top of that list for starters.

He didn't stick with either decision if I remember correctly. He allowed Fulham's goal until VAR intervened and didn't blow for the penalty.

That’s exactly it,too much moaning with no action. Nothing will be done until proper action is taken.

The only thing I will pick you up on is I think they do train for thease situations.
It's called cheating

Surely the point is that the " best available " are supposed to have been trained already, before they are given the responsibility of officiating in such games ?
Agreed, but what we are watching would indicate that isn't the case.

Because it might actually force them to take some accountability for their decisions rather than referring to someone in a room miles away, they get paid 170k plus a year to hide behind another prick from miles away and STILL get it wrong regardless.
That would result in the complete opposite. Refs could always hide behind human error before var, they're under much more scrutiny now as that excuse has largely been eliminated with var.
