Tone for the season has been set already. Extra time galore, VAR, pens all in aid of certain clubs.
Keeps the subscriptions coming in!!that’s what it’s all about really isn’t it. They’d be screwed if Liverpool and the rags dropped off a cliff. Conveniently Liverpool have taken over the baton while the rags have been shit. Today was an absolute disgrace. For those who say that last one was a penalty,I’d love to see that given in injury time at the other end in similar circumstances but we know that wouldn’t happen. How can one or two teams constantly be on the right end of almost every VAR calls. It’s ridiculous.

I didn’t see much of the game, but from what I did, the win today is clearly papering over the cracks.

The rags were fucking shockingly poor, and that was against a newly-promoted side.

Long may it continue.
The rags I know have said the same. It literally is papering over the cracks.

In the last seven seasons at the Et
3 league games and already 2 penalties at this rate they will end up with 25 penalties this season. Alti Taylor will referee the Derby and you can lump on a penalty for the filth in that game as well!!

Last seven seasons in the Premier League, the rags have been awarded FIVE penalties against us, all at the Etihad ( SIX if you include the Cup final in the treble season ) . Ridiculous isn't it, considering we've only had three given at the swamp in top flight matches in 55 years !!!

I will repeat something I said last season. The indicator is that it is the same teams continually benefiting from these decisions. A scripted pantomime springs to mind.

If they're celebrating a stuffy win with a last minute penalty as if it was a CL final, it tells you all you need to know about their current state. Their next six PL fixtures...

Us A
Chelsea H
Brentford A
Sunderland H
Liverpool A
Brighton H

If they get 7 points out of them, they're doing well.

3 points against City.

Lots of rag fans saying that they should go and get Donnarumma. Why would he move to that shitshow? They are not in Europe and look like a complete bunch of clowns. They really have not realised their new place in the world - biggest team in the world my arse!

Quite funny that in the first three weeks of the season they've had a goal stand that should have been disallowed for a foul and two dodgy penalties.

Genuinely incredible how it seems to happen on a consistent basis whenever they need results. I think they're absolutely dreadful. Amorim is completely out of his depth and his team are as petulant on the pitch as he is off it.

Hysteria around the penalty. It was a penalty. The defender pulls his shirt. Needlessly as the rag was going nowhere. United were wrongly awarded a penalty in the first half. If the narrative is to help them like many on here are saying, then why did var intervene and overturn the penalty? Because it was the right decision that’s why, just like their winning penalty annoyingly. The worst decision was the free kick they got that led to the first goal. Now that was shite

As I just posted. It was a pen and the other got overturned rightly today. Fulham was a joke as was their goal. As blues though we do ignore arsenals goal that got scored against them and the pen they should have had in that game. Like others have said, it papers over cracks. Some may believe it’s another corner turned. Up to us next game to ensure it isn’t

I really don’t think the penny will ever drop.
