Yes he’s been training ,don’t think there’s any issue with him or the squad if he stays. I think if he starts tomorrow though then he’s almost certainly staying,don’t think we’d start him as some sort of going away appearance or with negotiations ongoing. If he’s on the bench doesn’t tell us much.

Yeah, I’d be surprised if he started though.

Tbh mate, I think it’s happening, it’s just because it’s a simultaneous transfer and we don’t want to end up piggy in the middle. I reckon Romano gets enough of a steer to know it’s still going to get done, and he’s just tweeting accordingly.

Just can't see it this late in the window, unless something breaks tonight over an agreement for Ederson
 
I still think this gets done and we bring in Donna, no more incomings, just exits.
We will still need to find someone to take Ortega as well.

It feels off for me, I suppose it’s the reluctance to see the undoubted cog of Eddie being stripped from the machine; I’ve been here before with silva, Yaya, komps, Dinho et al, however, the moving parts, outfield, were supported by Eddie’s genius, coupled with transitions for players to bed in, this one feels like the evolution of the team, post Pep….
