Went by a "Dunkin Donut" shop this morning and fancied a cup of tea while I waited for the post office to open. The lass asked if I wanted it hot or iced and when I said "who the bloody hell puts ice in tea?" two of the daft sods in the queue went on about whether they liked green or white or peppermint the best.

I’m well aware that I’m the definition of centrist dad, but thats a nonsense point.

It’s nice to get a cup of speciality coffee when out, made by a small local business doing it properly. And frankly 4 quid for a coffee is neither here nor there for me, financially.

What I object to is this modern trend of everyone filming shit for social media and jumping on these shite trends, and massive corporations like Blank Street conning people into thinking they’re some organic phenomenon when it’s all manufactured by a multi billion dollar hedge fund.

Agreed. I cant even go in a ' coffee ' shop without a perplexed look on my face and have to get the wife to order me a basic " A COFFEE " I just dont and wont ever understand the menu
