We already have , and he did. Last seasonKhusanov is better than Dias with the ball, not because he's more technical, more skilled, or has better vision. No, it's simply because he doesn't think he's Beckenbauer. He's aware of what he can do and what he can't. He's old-school; he plays simply and doesn't attempt complicated things.
When Dias tries to advance slowly towards the opponent with the ball, and at the last second, when the passing angle narrows, he makes a poor pass to Ake or Ait Nouri and embarrasses them, then backpedals. Khusanov makes a simple pass. He doesn't attempt things he's not capable of. That's why he's better. I've seen about twenty of his matches with Lens, when his team was creating a sensation in the French Ligue 1 and the Champions League.
Let's give him 5 matches in a row, and we'll see if he doesn't win everyone over.
Is he injured or something?
He was on the bench against Spurs wasn't he?
Obviously it looks like Pep has a player that he bought that he doesn't trust or doesn't want, if he can't get a game when we are shit at the back he's never getting a game.
He is a proper CB
Agreed but I think he was just trying to put some weight about as Brighton were starting to bully us a bitRidiculously rash challenge leading to their first goal soured an otherwise good performance.
He has to stop flying in to challenges that are beyond his reach, good player otherwise just needs to be coached correctlyOne of the better performers. Unfortunately their goal came from his stupid tackle
Poor guy. At least Bernardo can run around doing nothingGood game overall but unfortunately that reckless challenge leading to the pen will probably mean he gets dropped for the next six months.
