Midfield continues to be a problem. Rodri will naturally take time to get up to speed. But too often now midfield goes missing, don’t get forward supporting attacks and don’t get back to help defence

Our biggest mistake was not going for the kill when we were so much on top..we seem to be content to coast after going a goal up..I yearn for the days when we went for the jugular
Trafford made a cracking save and although he still looks a bit tentative with the ball at his feet he's blameless today.
Khus looked good and his pace was badly missed once he went off.
Nice to see Rod back and he will get better with each game as his match fitness improves.
The rest were either average or below once Brighton made their subs.
Stupid by Nunes putting his arms up but the ball was going straight into his face and it's a defensive movement to protect himself but saying that most defenders would take it in the mush rather than give a penalty away.
We definitely need to sign a natural right back..Nunes and Rico aren't the answer.
We need to drop ten to fifteen yards deeper so teams don't have the space to run into but Pep won't do that..

The fact they were able to do this, and actually come away with a win, shows how far we have fallen. City of 3 seasons ago with Gundo and KDB in the centre would have ran riot with so much space afforded from the opposition going gung ho. Never mind that, Mancini or Pellegrini’s teams would have even. We didn’t manage a shot on target second half.

I honestly dnt think current KDB or Grealish are the x factors that could get us back to our best. Complacency is what creates these problems squad issues in the first place

You can't tell me that Bobb or Docku are an upgrade on Grealish...

And even against a packed defence Jack doesn't cough up possession.

Disappointing, but not surprised unfortunately. This season is a top 4 challenge at best.

As soon as they made 4 subs the game changed. Pep didn't react until they had already equalised and then got the momentum and crowd up.

I will get hate for this.. I hate to say it, but I’m seeing parallels with utd. Two managers with insanely expensive squads who can’t get a tune out of the players. We have an equally soft underbelly and a fragility. The football we’re playing is unbelievably turgid, I can’t remember the last time I was excited by watching us. We’ve seen Grealish leave and get four assists in two games for a shit team so he obviously has the quality, definitely more than Doku. Something feels rotten

Trafford was very good. Khusanov solid and had invaluable pace. Rodri is back. A few positives
