I’d add kush to that apart from a rash yellow he didn’t do anything wrong
And he’ll be out for 4-8 weeks now with a calf injury, which (for a speedster) is a hard injury to recover from.

Love the lad and, if I thought he’d get the COACHING he needs, he can be a world class defender for a decade. Alas, I think his game is not soaking up pressure and knitting together passes, but getting stuck in and beating his one to one opponent. That is very valuable in most teams, but not seemingly as valued in ours.

Lots of problems, obviously - and yet plenty of potential, if the coaching staff can remember what to do with it.

What is a real worry, though, is that too many players are taking the soft option of going down at the lightest tap on an ankle, Sterling stylee.

Fight for the damn thing - we'd be out-muscled by an under-15 team at the moment...

Woah how did this become our fault?
There is a complacency amongst the fan base, typified by the Pep/club knows best consistent comments on here along with comments of "he can do a job there and my opinion is right cause i go to matches and if you dont like me you can DM crowd and you wouldnt say that to my face crowd!

Defensively we have never been water tight, but last season and so far this one we are an utter shambles. This should have been addressed in January and the close season but it patently hasn't been. There must be a decent right back out there somewhere and a proper defensive midfielder.
Quite right we need a right back, get the cheque book out

You can’t win the league in the first half of the season but you can definitely lose it. At this rate you’re better off fighting for top 5

We need a right back. It's a shock I know, but yet again that was our problem area. The penalty he couldn't do much about, but so many poor touches from him, he just isn't good enough if we want to be successful. And neither is Rico yet.

We didn't have a shot on target since Haaland's goal I think I heard...unacceptable. Rodri was very good but even with him in there it was like we had no structure or fixed patterns of play. Too many taking loads of touches before losing the ball.

As soon as Brighton upped the tempo we were gone.

If it continues like this I can't see Pep staying much longer, and it won't be his decision.

Matey We need 2 right backs and 2 left backs thats how a top club works ? Cover for the starting fullbacks

Yes - RAN and Marmoush are the worst at this.
