Will we win the league this season?

Really don't see us being within 10 points of the title winning team this season. Looking at the Arsenal and Liverpool teams I think only Rodri and Haaland would start for them. So we need to make sure we fight it out for a Champions League spot this season and build a new team and style that can challenge next year similar to Klopps last season at Liverpool.

A very measured and cool response after two poor performances. I mostly agree with you but I would say it’ll be at least 20 points.
 
We’re as good as out of title race.

Looks like it’s just a continuation of last season. How the fuck did we qualify for the UCL? Can’t really see anything changing. Looks like Pep has been sussed and doesn’t know what to do about it. It’s been a great ride but all good things come to an end. Sly Sports will be loving this
 
Absolutely not. We’re not near the level of Liverpool or Arsenal this season and will be competing with Chelsea, Spurs, Newcastle for top 4. Hopefully a good CL run and a domestic cup.
 
This is going to be a long season.

We're not as good as Liverpool or Arsenal! We're just not.

Are we good enough for 3rd or 4th? Possibly.. but we should have restarted the rebuild after the treble or 4 in a row.. it's obvious now we held onto players past their peaks too long.

Currently we have 2 world class players.. Erling and Rodri. We used to have 6 or 7. Rest are past their prime.

So we're stuck with projects and will have to accept a few years of projects getting better as we didn't invest in Bellingham and Rice when the time was right.

Hopefully we get it right now rather than wrong.. but it's a good time to bed in Trafford and O'Reilly.. possibly a few others that form the next core along with Haaland.

I remember a CL team manager (think Copenhagen) saying a few years ago of City players.. "their secret is they work fucking hard.. REALLY FUCKING HARD!"

I'd like to see that in my team again!

Last season KDB out for 2 months too.. we're stuck in a rut apparently!

But hopefully some of the new kids Mukasa, McAidoo, Heskey prove to Pep they're worth playing..
