It's Quiet the £250m return

Not so sure about that.
Donarumma
Ait-nouri
Cherki
Reijnders
Trafford
Bettinelli (back up)
Nypen (for the future)

If that’s the business complete that’s a great window. Liverpool have signed well, but other than them there isn’t a club who has done better in my view.
I obviously sincerely hope you're right mate but it's far too early to say or indeed, write anyone off.
Donarumma, good keeper
Ait-nouri, will help going forward but defensively i'm not sure at all.
Cherki, we'll see, could come good, might end up a bit part player from the bench, who knows.
Reijnders. Like him but it's early days and he still has a lot to learn to play in a Pep side
Trafford, decent but still young with lots to learn.
Bettinelli (back up), meh, will never play
Nypen (for the future), could become great, could go the other way, as all kids can.

Not that they’re currently struggling, three straight wins and joint top of Ligue 1, but who are we intending to send to Olympique Lyonnais?

Whatever Galatasaray ultimately offered for Ederson, they might want to now offer for Ortega.

Rodri’s interview was interesting and has calmed me a bit. This is a new team that will need a bit of time to come together. We’ve still not put out our strongest side.

Yes we have deficiencies that will hopefully be addressed today but am trying not to panic!

He`s like Wenger though imo, he loves the club so much that he cant see the issues that he is causing?
Yeah, but checked out means to me he’s thought f#ck it, I’m done. In that situation I don’t think he would stay around.

Still has my backing but have gone from dreading the day he leaves to thinking I wonder what and who next.

We all know we not getting a right back now! So I expect Akanji will be our right back now Pep will use him and play 30+ games this season! He has 2 years left has had 2/3 options and turned them down! Players are so comfy that they’ll stick around and we will treat them so well rightly so but Chelsea last year maresca sent nearly a full team away from the main squad to train..

Where have we spunked 150 + million + on garbage ?
To be clear, when I say garbage I mean relative to what we are aiming for as a club at the start of each season. Therefore I am looking at purchases like Nunes, Phillips, Nico, Doku etc. They’re not actual garbage (apart from Phillips) but are they proving to be a good ROI? Was it worth penny-pinching and buying at a level or two below top-class? I don’t think it’s unfair to say that it hasn’t paid off.

This. It’s been gross negligence. We are shopping at the same values that most of the PL shop at…£30m here and £45m there and some wonder why we are struggling. Every now and then, you get lucky and unearth a gem but have you really gotten a good ROI, if you sign a belter at £40m but you’ve also got 5 duffers in the squad for the same price? I don’t think a team should be patting themselves on the back for picking up a Cherki at £30m for example, if you’ve spunked £150m+ on other garbage at the same time.

Noticed Sunderland have a new right back

This narrative of 'we've signed players no-one else wanted' how do we know interested parties haven't been told to do one because they only want City? Not like Sly Sports would report that if the player himself explicitly said it to their reporters.

Good experienced keeper who can hopefully help Trafford's development, replaces the best keeper we've had in my time.

No need to panic mate, at least we have highlights of recent successes we can enjoy on a HD TV rather than B&W
