Will we win the league this season?

So you've got no idea who would be better but you're certain the guy we have is not good enough. Brilliant.
Exactly. I don't have the expertise to know who can use hundreds of millions of pounds to create one of the best teams in the world. But I have the expertise to give me opinion that we have become a very poor team to watch over the past year or so and I have little faith that much will change this season.

Yep, footballs a funny old game but bloody hell Liverpools window has been extraordinary. Have you seen their ins and outs ? and thats without Isak and Guehi. The bench will be ridiculous. Hard to see them not win 4 in a row at this point. They've started the season beating two rivals when they haven't even clicked into gear. There's a good chance they'll walk the league, quite possibly win CL and whatever else their in.
felt dirty liking that post, but I can't argue with it :/

Just look at the Bus Wreckers signings, we haven’t got a hope in hell of matching up to them.

Something has gone badly wrong on the recruitment side of the Club.
is it the 115 or 11whatever ,makes sense, the shit we have bought the last two years

Being able to read a league table isn’t expertise.

We fans have no idea what’s going on behind the scenes or how things are in training every day so your assessment is based on almost nothing.

The fact you’re talking about us being bad for a year shows that you’re just looking at results because we played bad plenty in 23/24 as well, that’s when the change of style happened. So I’m pretty convinced If a dumb penalty hadn’t been given away yesterday you’d not be posting the things you have today.

The people who actually have expertise and the information to make a decision on the coach are all convinced Pep is the best person for the job, and when you can’t even name a replacement, calling for his job is beyond ridiculous.

You are right that I talk shit and have little or no understanding of what goes on at the club. I can only go off what I see on the pitch. I've been saying for ages that we have been poor. Against Wolves I said the first 20 minutes were poor and the 2nd half was described by Pep as poor. But someone accused me of being deluded with that too.

Honestly I don't want to be right. I am just saying that we need Pep to figure out a way to win asap and we need Pep to find a way to have entertainment on the pitch asap and we need him to figure out how to score a lot more goals. And I'm saying that I have no faith left. Only hope.

Someone posted on another thread that maybe the owners are happy having won the CL and now are going to coast, job done so to speak.

It did get me wondering, Liverpool are miles ahead of us now, 21 titles incoming.

At least that will piss united fans off.

Ah yes, the old "get behind the team routine". I don't know how old you are and don't really care, but I do remember us getting behind the team all the way to the third division.
The fans were clearly getting behind the team yesterday and the team collapsed.
OK. So if you think it's better to not get behind the team then you do that. My preference and that of the fans yesterday was to get behind the team.

Good job we lost to chelsea in 2021 then,or we wouldn't have done the treble or four in a row

Right now, I'll be happy with mid-table ;)
If we persist with the same tactics and high line, then personally i think top 4 is beyond us. Just a lack of goals in our team to offset the awful defending. Think we could finish anywhere from 4th to 7th which st lesst would give us different teams in Europe but we would still probably manGe to draw Madrid :)-

I'm waiting for other bad results so that the bookies give us a 1 in 20 chance.

If we are just 7 pts off the top come January, we'll have a good chance to win it.

We have been turned down by quite a few players. Rice for one, wirz, bellingham. We’ll never know why but for all our negotiators saying ,”dont worry about the charges”. Maybe potential buys are worried and we are left with a tier or two down level players who are just happy to be here
