Pep is going to have to set up differently (and he acknowledged that at weekend when he said when we went more direct we werent prepared for the second ball).

Do we have the midfielders to compete to win the second ball...do they have the intelligence (like David Silva had to win the ball) cause they dont have the physicality - that is what we are now relying on happening.

He has played 3 games at the top level for a team whose goal is to win things. In one of those games he royally fucked up with the ball at his feet. There is zero evidence that he is any better than Donnarumma on the ball, at this level of football. It’s one thing looking comfortable in a youth game with 100 people watching, it’s another thing entirely doing it at OT in the derby, at Anfield in a title-decider, or at the Bernabeu in a CL semi. Donnarumma is a proven winner. Trafford is yet another club project and I’ve had enough of those over the past couple of years.
 
I’m not to sure why everyone has decided he’s crap with his feet , granted he ain’t Eddie standard but he’s far from crap! Iv Seen plenty of great passes from him , don’t fall into the anti city media that will tell you otherwise. Hes a steal at the money and will boss that back line. Oh and not to mention he’s a fantastic shot stopper.

This guy has it in spades, despite the likes of *checks notes* ex cult superstar Stephen Warnock trying to piss on the deal
