The Sav stuff has been the weirdest in my view. Pep plays him on the opposite wing, he clearly wants to go somewhere where he plays on the left, and someone, presumably not Pep, has been determined to keep him around. I don't know, maybe I'm misreading it all. I just think our dealings in the transfer window have actually been good, just not good if you were building a third great Pep team.

I don't think you would need to greenlight anything, there's just a very big squad and academy and loan players full of bright young talent that you'd just tell the new guy to shape as you see fit.

Trafford was hoofing it long a fair bit the other day, but apparently he's good with his feet. The reality is that there's absolutely no-one like Ederson so we're just going to have to accept that anyone will be a downgrade and work out how to change things up to deal with it.

Not mithered about this feet nonsense, it is documented he worked on it amd dforcced his was back as PSG number one.

It is the the issue that he doesn't like to come out for crosses, high balls in or corners that is my only concern, we already have a list of times we haven't defended such especially corners, so a goalie that hesitates on this and waits for his defence to clear bothers me.

He will be fine on his feet, shot stop for fun and save pens, let's just not concede corners ;-)


That is if he has signed, bar Romanos here we go hrs ago, it's been pretty silent, how hard is it to put out a thank you eddie (if gone) welcome Donner post.
 
Nothing would have been worse than an inferior shot stopping goalie who was also inferior with his feet. Which is where we were headed with the Diogo Costa talks.

I hated all those links. Called this one as early as May, give me Donnarumma. We are not going ro replace Eddie's ball skills, find dominance at something else.

Yeah he only played one good game in 8 years. What were the club thinking. You must be so glad our treble winning, 4 in a row keeper has finally gone?
