You’re correct. I had to Google to believe the paid that much for Kepa..
The fact that you had to Google it to find that out, perfectly illustration the media bias in this country, and within the Premier League.

Contrast that with MCFC, and I'm pretty sure that most people in the Western Hemisphere were aware that we spent £100,000,000.00 on Jack Grealish.

This is exactly the point, that some of us are making when we say there is a blatant agenda.

Keep an ear out when you next watch a Liverpool game. Listen out for the phrase: "here's the £125,000,000.00 man making an intelligent run"

I'll be surprised if you do.

I remember when Grealish signed for MCFC, I think it was around mid February before they actually referred to him by name.

Some window spend wise for the cunts and nobody please try and give me the net spend shite.

Do the rules not apply to certain clubs?
They do, but it’s net spend over 3 years.

Oh wait, you were being rhetorical, because you didn’t want the truth (shite)!

The level of hypocrisy demonstrated by the media towards the dippers is so very clear and obvious.

Glossing over all of their unsavoury history, criminal and disgraceful behaviour of their feral supporters for the pieces of silver.

Journalism integrity at its lowest.

So when does " it doesn't feel the same now we bought success Lar instead of winning on klopps shoestring underdogs budget "
you need to understand that everything is different for them as it means more. allegedly.

I hope our chairman will read this article
That just puts into perspective how remarkable our achievements have been since Pep came in 2016/2017.
5th in net spend since then ! Half of what the Rags net spend has been. Nobody in the media seems to mention that. Despite this we had arguably the greatest dominance for a 10 plus year period in English football history. By the numbers, only Liverpool 70's/80 or Rags 90's/2000's had a better trophy haul. However there were no spending restrictions then so their competition was nothing like we faced.

“The second element is the financial rules. These are heaven-made for a club like Liverpool.”

Who’d have thought eh?

“The second element is the financial rules. These are heaven-made for a club like Liverpool.”

If it had carried on to say " courtesy of Richard Masters and the PL cabal" it would have been absolutely correct and honest - a highly uncharacteristic element for SKy.

Grealish gets boo'd because he's a jack the lad and good looking and all their girlfriends would love a piece of him. Not because he left Villa.
Why did Sterling get booed then?

Let's be honest, it's because voices in the media whip up hate from players that dare to leave the scousers to the point that fans of other clubs don't even know why they're booing him.

Sterling got booed thanks to Liverpool changing the narrative on him when he wanted to leave and portrayed him as a greedy ****. The Daily Heil dutifully pushed this narrative on their behalf and at one point we're writing a daily negative story about him.

They write about how they've "navigated PSR restrictions" as if they have. The reality is that we only find out whether they have at some point over the next 3 years.

Their hubris will bring them down.

They already think they are going to win the league.

As others have said a double is a minimum requirement this season.

From the Sky Sports website, trying to justify Liverpool's heroic spending this summer. One of the reasons of how the "reds funded their record-breaking window"
"The second element is the financial rules. These are heaven-made for a club like Liverpool" says ex-LFC Managing Director Christian Purslow.
..."heaven-made"....Well, doesn't that just sum it up...the exact reason why the likes of LFC and Utd and the Arse wanted to bring in FFP all those years ago, lock in their competitive advantage over the majority of other clubs for decades to come.

Clear and obvious !

It's been a disgrace how other teams spending has been reported compared to city.
Arsenal spending seems to have gone unnoticed in the British press as well.
Red shirt spending= fantastic
City spending= bad for the game, ruining football etc
