An unpopular opinion I have about Akanji.

He hasn't been that bad for us, everyone was bad last season. Otherwise he was good.

He'd also still be a better right back than Lewis or Nunes

Reported €1million loan with €15 million obligation to buy if Inter are crowned champions. If not, they have the option.

Been shit for 18mths mate. At the scene of the crime for most fuck ups and on huge wages, only one of the central defenders with any value other than Dias so a pretty easy decision to make

Agree but most of our players have been shite for 18 months. I get letting him go but no replacement is nuts. Stones will soon be injured we have other injuries in defence too this with no right back just makes our entire back line unsettled & inexperienced.

Khus is the replacement, he will take all the minutes Akanji would have had.

Fans want us to rebuild then want to keep a 6th choice CB / 3rd choice RB?

We have too many non-HG players, we needed to move some on and Akanji was expendable

Khus is the replacement, he will take all the minutes Akanji would have had.

Let’s hope pep trust khus & plays him. Rico & Nunes should not be anywhere near right back for me.
